Erin Gillan

Head Nurse

Hello! My name is Erin and I grew up in New Zealand with 5 Boxers. I now have my own boxer, Sullivan, a kitten, Mikey and a gaint rabbit named Nigel. Vet Nursing is everything I hoped it would be and more and I absolutely love it!!

Sammi Muir

Hi, I'm Sammi. I have completed my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. I have a house full of animals and look forward to helping you care for yours.

Janna Horsburgh

I was born, therefore I am

Sadly this is all I can tell you cause Gwen dared me. Just kidding.

Completing my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2008, I've enjoyed every gross, amazing and sad moment of this brilliant job and wouldn't give it up for the world. Which is just as well because of the menagerie I have (child inclusive) at home.

I'm sure everyone who comes to TVH would recognize Janna, what you may not know is that as you can tell from the above blog, has a quirky sense of humour.(ed)

Grace Potter

I am so lucky to be doing a job I love.

I have always had dogs in my life. Currently we have two Maltese/Shih Tzu crosses, Rippa and Rita (You may see them on the TV at reception)

I treat each patient as if they were one of mine and try to make their stay with us as positive as possible.

That's it - I'm off to Ecuador! (temporarily)

Tam Hambrook

Donna Harvey

Hi my name is Donna. I grew up in Sydney, I moved down the coast for about  14 years before moving to Canberra with my partner and to further my career in nursing. I have been a vet nurse for 6 years and love it. I am now currently studying Certificate IV in Fitness, as I love fitness, gym and hiking with my two Labradors. I own one deaf white cat that lives down the coast with Grandma and two Labradors who are very spoilt and keep us on our toes.

Paige Scarce

I grew up in a town at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains. I always had animals growing up and wanted to work in the veterinary industry. I completed Certificate III in Animal Studies in 2015 and Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at the end of 2016.

I have a Jack Russell called Skeeta who keeps me entertained and a 3 legged Lab x Kelpie who lives with my parents. I love working at TVH and love helping all our patients and clients.

Angela Miller

Hi, my name is Angela and I started Vet Nursing in 2014 after leaving a career in the Army. I recently moved to Canberra and already love the people and their pets. I grew up with a love of all animals and now have the best job in the world. I have a range of pets including three cats, two dogs, one horse and a budgie. I look forward to meeting yours.

Suzanne Fagan

Hi, my name is Suzanne and I grew up in the veterinary industry. My dad was a vet and every chance I got I would go out working with him. In 2010 I started working reception at the Animal Emergency Centre in Fyshwick, it wasn't long before I started nursing. I have completed Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. It has been the best decision I have ever made, I thoroughly enjoy working with animals. I currently share my life with two beautiful cats and a very cheeky three legged rabbit.

Lachlan Williams

Hi, I'm Lachlan. I first started working here at Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital as a cage cleaner in 2012. I have since 'graduated' to the front desk. When I'm not working here you would most probably find me studying for an exam for university. Animals have always formed an integral part of my life, however, I don't actually have any pets at the moment (I am working on fixing that though). Working with your pets is certainly a rewarding career, especially when you see a dog's excitement upon being reunited with it's owner after a stay in hospital.
