Dr Isabel Beveridge

I fulfilled my dream of becoming a Vet, graduating from the Royal Vet College in London in 2019. Prior to this, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Bioveterinary Science and spent time outside of uni working with animals. I had completed a student placement at TVH in 2017 and was very fortunate to become a member of their lovely team 2 years later!

My pets have ranged from a frog called Brewster that I adopted from a restaurant menu when I was 9, to my current geriatric rescue dogs, Cricket and Mozzy who don’t have a tooth between them. For as long as I can remember, I have surrounded myself by animals.

Family is very important to me. I’m half Scottish, half English and was born in Brunei as the youngest of four girls. My spare time is filled finding new coffee spots and walks around Canberra, going travelling with my partner Scott and volunteering at the RSPCA.

I love being a Vet and have always valued pets as family members. A special area of work for me is improving quality of life in elderly patients. I don’t have any current plans to specialise as I enjoy being a GP vet however I’d like to gain further qualifications in dentistry, surgery and ultrasonography.
